Five Education are working with a special school in Bristol that are looking for a teacher to work with children with have complex needs. You will be working with students across a range of ages, and with varying abilities. Responsibilities and duties Teaching students at either primary or secondary levels There is no planning or marking in a short term role, but it can happen in long term placements Working with other staff members including SENCOs and Teaching Assistants Managing pupil behaviour Providing support and guidance to teaching assistants in your classes Adapting lessons to meet the needs of the pupils Liaising with parents and SLT Essential Criteria Must hold QTS, NQTs are encouraged to apply Must have experience teaching children with SEND Will be happy to teach across a variety of subjects Will have strong communication and empathy skills Will have strong behaviour management skills Will be flexible, adaptable and positive Free 3 – 5 days a week Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all of the staff we employ to share this commitment.
