SEN Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for teachers for cover requirements in a special needs schools in Formby, Liverpool. QTS is preferred as planning and teaching small classes will be part of the role responsibilities. However, those with equivalent teaching qualifications/SEMH teaching experience will be considered. The school you will be working in will be catering for pupils from 3-11 years, with a range of SEMH/SEN needs including medical needs, a diagnosis of autism, speech and language communication needs, challenging behaviour, Moderate Learning Difficulties and/or severe learning difficulties.

Location: Formby, Liverpool Role: Teacher (SEMH) Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Fridays We are encouraging applicants with SEMH teaching experience in Special Need Schools, Pupil Referral Units, primary schools and/or nurseries and/or secondary schools to apply.   You will have the following:    Minimum 1 year relevant SEN/teaching experience QTS, PGCE or equivalent qualification Full-time availability (Mon to Fri 8:30 – 3:30pm) A valid DBS Certificate (on the update service) that will need to be taken to the school on first day – or be willing to apply for one (Teaching Personnel can assist you in this)  Please send your updated CV to Danielle at Teaching Personnel in response to be considered. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12. 07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
