Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a partnership school to recruit a SEN Teacher who is suitable to work at an SEN School in Cardiff with a long term role starting as soon as possible. The school caters for 3-11 year olds who have SEND including Autism, Sensory Processing Difficulties and Speech and Language Difficulties. The school aims to raise aspirations for all the students who attend by creating a caring and friendly environment which allows students to thrive. All students must feel safe, supported and respected within school; therefore, a teacher must be able to create this environment within their classroom.
The successful candidate must be able to teach across foundation phase so having some knowledge of the early years curriculum is advanteagous but not essential. You will be working with a number of experienced TAs who will support you in your new role. The Successful Candidate will have the following: Qualified Teacher Status – Ideally Primary trained but not essential. A strong sense of humour.
Experience of or interest in teaching within a specialist provision. Ability to work within a well established team. Be available full time and ongoing.
