We are recruiting. Are you an enthusiastic KS2 teacher looking for your next role in South-Bristol. Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking, compassionate & resilient KS2 teacher to join a large primary school in South-Bristol from September, 2021 on a full-time, fixed-term contract with a view on transferring to a permanent contract upon completion of the academic year. The head is looking for a teacher to work in a year 5 class.

The class have a high proportion of pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour, so the school are looking for someone who has a child-centred and calm approach. Experience managing challenging behaviour is essential as the school are looking for a staff member who do the role with little-to-no oversight. The class will have a number of TAs and support staff to provide assistance and there is a dedicated behavioural support team to ensure this is minimal impact of other learners. The school and SLT offer a very welcoming setting by having a real focus on staff relationships, building a close-knit team and friendly working environment.

The school has good facilities and takes a collaborative approach to ensuring that their pupils get the best opportunity for high attainment levels whilst caring for their social and emotional wellbeing. We are looking for: A teacher who holds qualified teaching status (QTS) and experience teaching KS2 Someone with excellent curriculum knowledge & strong behaviour management skills An inspirational and enthusiastic individual with high organisational skills Someone who is an excellent role model and who actively promotes the skills, attributes and behaviours important in a classroom You will be expected to take responsibility for a year 5 class, as well as supporting in other classrooms & over break times.
