Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking, compassionate & resilient KS2 teacher to join a large primary school in South-Bristol from September, 2021 on a full-time, fixed-term contract with a view on transferring to a permanent contract upon completion of the academic year. The head is looking for a teacher to work in a year 5 class.
The class have a high proportion of pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour, so the school are looking for someone who has a child-centred and calm approach. Experience managing challenging behaviour is essential as the school are looking for a staff member who do the role with little-to-no oversight. The class will have a number of TAs and support staff to provide assistance and there is a dedicated behavioural support team to ensure this is minimal impact of other learners. The school and SLT offer a very welcoming setting by having a real focus on staff relationships, building a close-knit team and friendly working environment.
