English Teachers required for long term opportunities throughout Greater Manchester Your new company Due to a high demand for English Teachers across the Manchester and surrounding areas, Hays Education are looking to register a number of English teachers of all experience levels for long term positions which will be registered from January. Start dates will range throughout the academic year. Your new role You will be responsible for teaching English in Secondary schools across Greater Manchester. In a long term role you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.
You will also be expected to attend and prepare for Parents Evenings throughout the academic calendar. Behaviour management will also be your priority, as well as ensuring pupils are achieving to the best of their ability and engaging with the subject in your classroom. What you’ll need to succeed In order to be a registered Teacher with Hays Education, you must possess QTS / QTLS and ideally have experience of teaching English KS3 and KS4, and in some areas A Level. You must give full commitment to the role that you accept, and show your work ethic and flexibility to adjust to your new environment.
