Teacher of History

We require for February 2020, an experienced passionate Teacher of History. Our client is a secondary Academy situated in Sunderland. The role is full time and will run for the remainder of the academic year. Can you communicate your passion for History to others and inspire our students to reach their full potential.

You will be joining a team of dedicated and enthusiastic teaching staff and will be required to teach across the full ability range at both Key Stage 3 and 4 in a well-resourced Faculty, whose aim is to ensure pupils enjoy and achieve in History whilst fully engaging with the school ethos. It is essential you have experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4. You will need to be organised, innovative and have a range of good behaviour management skills to draw on the student’s interests, ensuring that progress is made. To be considered for the teacher of History position you must: *Have experience teaching Physical Education to KS3 and KS4 *Deliver inspiring and engaging lessons *Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification As part of the CER Education team you will benefit from: *Excellent opportunities for CPD Training *The support of an experienced/dedicated secondary consultant
