Reed Education Bristol are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role for a Teacher of Science in the Bath area for the Summer term . The school are looking for an outstanding Science teacher to join them on a temporary basis  to cover sickness where they would be paid to scale . Whether you are an experienced Science teacher looking for your next challenge, or newly qualified wanting to kick start your teaching career in your first role, we want to hear from you. The School: • A busy and successful Secondary School based near Radstock.

• The pupils, aged between 11- 16, are enthusiastic and keen to learn. • The schools aim is to provide exceptional education in a caring and supportive environment. • They give all pupils the opportunity to learn and grow intellectually, creatively, spiritually and morally. The Role: • The role is to teach Science across all Key Stages.

• Previous experience teaching AQA syllabus is desirable, but not essential. • The Science department is well resourced and you will be joining a fantastic and supportive team • Alongside your teaching role you will also take a pastoral role as a form tutor What you will need: • UK QTS with a good relevant honours degree • Working knowledge of the new National Curriculum for Science up to KS4/KS5. • Adopts appropriate teaching styles to enthuse and meet the needs of all students • Experience of practical management • Ability to develop new and innovative teaching styles to fully engage students.
