Maths Teacher

Maths teacher required for a 12 month temporary position in the New Year at a Bolton based secondary school ahead of September 2021. With a member of the Maths department expected to go on maternity leave in July 2021, the school wishes to appoint a passionate Maths teacher from September 2021 or sooner if possible.   Full time Maths teacher post – September 2021 start 12 month temporary post with permanent opportunity Opportunity to work within a well managed Maths department where pupils make above the national expected progress levels Ofsted graded good secondary school located north of Bolton town centre Pay in line with MPS/UPS based on the 2019/20 scales ( 25,714 – 41,604) Applicants must hold QTS, with the school encouraging both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers to apply. The ideal candidate will be confident building strong rapport with pupils and hold the ability to consistently deliver ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice.

Staff within this department hold a shared vision based on providing every pupil with the highest standard of teaching and learning to ensure they achieve above and beyond their expected grades. Those passionate about raising pupil attainment and with proven records will fit perfectly into this position. The successful Maths teacher will be required to take on full responsibility for a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes ranging in ability. You will be required to plan and delivering engaging lessons and will have full access to excellent facilities and resources within this modern school.

This school is located north of Bolton, just a short drive from the M61. There is on site parking free on charge for all members of staff and a range of public transport links from Bolton, Rossendale and Rochdale.
