KS2 Interventions Teacher

Do you have experience in teaching within KS2. Are you available to work full time from October 2020. LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a school within Nottingham city who are looking to add an interventions teacher to their KS2 team. The role will be working from year 3 right through to year 6 and supporting pupils who may have missed a lot of school time due to COVID-19.

The main duties within this role will be: Running 1:1 catch up sessions with children around maths and English Leading small group booster sessions around spelling, grammar and reading Liaising with the class teacher around progress of the pupils Planning engaging sessions to maximise pupil progress Following the school’s behaviour and reward policies Marking the work of children within your sessions At this time, we are only looking for people who have: Minimmum one years’ teaching experience A solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum Excellent behaviour management An engaging teaching style to promote engagement in lessons Excellent planning skills and is able to differentiate to meet a range of needs The school are able to offer: Full time hours A 9 month contract Pleasant and polite pupils who are eager to learn A supporitve senior leadership team Excellent resources Beautiful school surroundings If you are a qualified teacher and interested in this position, please send across your CV to Jamie via the application page
