Join a small secondary school in Bury, supporting pupils aged 11-16 with the English curriculum. – Full-time English teacher, required from January 2021 to cover a 12 month maternity leave. – Both experienced and newly qualified English teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided. – Pay in line with teaching scale point ( 24, 373- 40,490 per annum).
The successful teacher will be expected to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated English lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning. The incoming teacher will be teaching a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE and taking on full planning and marking responsibilities. Our client school is located in the Bury area and can be accessed via the M66/A56 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and central Manchester. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from areas such as Prestwich, Whitefield and Farnworth.
